About me
My name is Adriana Tribiño, I have a degree in Psychology from the University Pontificia de Comillas and I also studied Psychology at Fordham University, while simultaneously collaborating with a program for affective disorders at the Bronx Hospital, New York, United States. Later, I increased my knowledge of psychotherapy and psychopathology, and I have a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology.
I have more than 20 years of experience in clinical psychology, psychotherapy and psychological help. I have published numerous articles in journals like Parents and others in the sector. I have been in charge of psychological counselling in other publications and I have been involved in radio and television programs. I have also given presentations at congresses.
I am highly specialized which allows me to respond effectively to various psychological problems. My extensive 20 year background supports the work, based on an accurate diagnosis, which will determine the most appropriate form of intervention.
I offer patients, the psychological treatment that best suits their needs. I have also collaborated with psychiatrists in conducting evaluations and follow-ups in the psychiatric cases that require them.
This leads to greater treatment effectiveness because of the personalized attention and close contact that I provide, where it is appropriate, with other health care professionals, with the family and in the school environment (in the case of children).
Since 2007 I have provided expert reports, assessments and ratifications in different areas. As a way to better respond to the present day demands of the legal field; in labor law, as well as in the criminal and family law fields, with both individuals and insurers, I founded the company Reports and Expert Assessments. Each report is individually produced, no two are the same as each case has its own peculiarities and judges deal better with the specificity of each one.
Since 2000 I have been a part of the EPSYLO Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, and Speech Therapy Team in the role of Psychotherapist where I have conducted psychological treatments on children, adolescents and adults. I have supervised professionals who are beginning to work in this field.
Previously I was the Director of the Institute of Early Childhood Care from 1993 to 2003 where I was responsible for early attention to infants and their family environment.
I started my career in the field of psychology as a co-therapist working with children with mood disorders, in the Bronx Psychiatric Hospital from 1981 to 1982.
